Phuuh, it took us almost a week to recover from the superb Arctic15-event! Like any other startup with their own demo stand at the venue, we were also quite tied to our own Tellyo booth upstairs – but that didn’t stop us for enjoying the atmosphere and having a peek to what was happening all around Cable Factory. Here is our TOP4 picks from the event:

1. Great pitches

During the 2-day conference we had the chance to enjoy hearing some top-notch pitches from the OP Pitching Competion participants. The pitches were all polished up and the ideas behind the startups seemed awesome. My personal favorite was Weld, a startup that makes creating easier. For a technical noob like me their easy-to-use prototyping tool sounded amazing! Also our warmest congrats to the winner, Fourdeg!

2. Speed Dating sessions = success

In Arctic15 there were ten pre-planned speed dating sessions where startups, investors, accelerators, corporations and media had the chance to hook up during an energetic session.

“The most memorable thing to me was the B2B startups and investors speed dating. It was really well organised, and it seemed that all attending startups were of high interest to the investors”, says Kimmo from Tellyo.

3. The foood!

“I loved how the food was organised and that it was available through most of the day. It was a really nice place to bump into people. One of the memorable startups I met was Four Sigma Foods, who served their mushroom drinks. It was a natural way to discuss your ideas and finally I went to try their product”, says Jakub from Tellyo.

4. Awesome guests

The two stages were full of thought-provoking keynote speeches. I’m glad that I had the time to sit in the audience when Phil Pallen, a branding expert from LA, had his presentation. I also took part on Phil’s workshop on Project Branding – can’t recall when was the last time I got that amount of inspiration!

The whole Tellyo team was proud to be part of the event, and we hope our videos from the Main Stage were both useful and entertaining. If you need some specific clip from the event, please contact us by email or in Twitter. We’ll be happy to help!
